Stocking Up to Save Money

Why should you stock up? Well let’s say that your favorite tomato sauce is normally $1.50 per package and it goes on its once a year sale for $0.50 and you only buy how much you need for that week. Then you end up having to pay full price the rest of the year. Your family uses 100 cans/jars a year, so your costs per year would be $148 if you only buy 2 cans during the sale. Your costs if you stocked up and bought a year supply would be $50 this year. That is a savings of $98. This can be applied to any item that is non perishable and consumable.

Make a price point list. This list will show all of your stock up prices for individual items.
